This news is very interesting, the news is about South Korea bought arms from U.S. and They is the biggest buyers of U.S. Therefore, when I read that news I have a question that why South Korea bought many arms for what ?

According to the news, The U.S. said that South Korea was the biggest buyers of America defense goods on a government-to-government level last year. South Korea purchased $462 million and becoming Washington’s seventh-biggest client. In 2008, The amount fell rapidly , however, Seoul has conducted additional naval drills to deter provocations from North Korea. So, South Korea has to prepare the large-scale joint naval exercises in the East Sea with the United States. Last year, U.S. allowed legislation South Korea under the special project and they mention to the need that enhance weapons compatibility between the South Korean military and the 28,500 U.S. troops for against North Korea.

In my opinion, it is a good sigh for South Korea that they have a business with the great business dealer like American. South Korea can enable American's government to rely on what South Korea does. The way South Korea bought a lot of goods means that the South Korea has a lot of money. It can purchase things that have a high cost. Moreover, the cooperation between South Korea and American to ignore North Korea is the great news.

When I was a primary school student I thought that lesson are very easy and it has low quality than today.Sometimes I saw the show on television I think many junior high school and high school students have more knowledge than me while I was high school student.

According to the news, South Korea students are goad on to competition to study higher grades courses in advance at private cram schools. Students in junior high school will learn about lesson in high school. This competition has aims to gain the school in the university entrance exam. However, the important factor is the higher costs in private high school. the new superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education said that this way is wrong way and it is an evil strategy because it’s a pity to see their society caught in this trap. Moreover, he said that today their students was not happy with this education. So, he will develop the education and he will work on his own think. And he will establishment of “innovative schools” at the center of the campaign. Furthermore, he will emphasize to English subject because he said that English is very important to their students. The foreign is very important roles in boosting the nation’s knowledge of English.

S. Korea Unveils New Military Transport Chopper

I choose this news because they was very interesting. recently, in Thailand also has the news about the helicopter but in it about the helicopter crashed with the mountain and it fell down into the forest. However, this news was different from the news in Thailand. You can read the news in the next part.

According to the news, South Korea announced that they published their a new military transport helicopter developed with the chopper division of Europe's EADS to replace its ageing fleet of U.S. on Friday. At first, this helicopter was showed by president Lee in the south of Sacheon. They spend a lot of money for this project about 1.3 trillion won ($1.05 billion) and this project was published in 2006 and it will be full option in 2012. This helicopter can fly about 260 km per hour and it carrying two gunners and a patrol of troops. However, Korea has planned to build the helicopter more than 200 to substitute all of old helicopter that they used for long time. Moreover, they has planned to build civilian variants of the chopper. The reporter said this project will help them its heavy dependence on US helicopter and they will make it into the global market.

In my opinion, I think it is neccessary for Korean army to have new helicopters. The old helicopters will give a lot of trouble if an engine in each helicopter is too old. For example, the engine may shut down automatically or cause a plane clash during the operation. To substitute the old helicopters with the new helicopters, it will be able to gain a lot of adventage.
